Planning a trip around the bay on Sunday May 5th. Leaving from ybor around 7:00 to beat the heat. Route distance ends up at around a 100. Mix of everything on the route, bike path, road, park, p trail, bridges. http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/669828

I had thought about doing a trip around the Bay...actually around the Bay.  Somehow having a pontoon boat or ferry of some sort to pick up bikes and riders from one end of the Skyway bridge and drop them off at the other end of the Skyway bridge so they can continue biking around the bay following as close to the waterfront as biking is available.

Bishop Harbor Boat ramp would be good if you're looking to do that on the Palmetto side.
Smite me fondly
