For no good reason I've been off the bike for a few years. What have I missed?

New trails
Reworked trails

Due to a shoulder injury (requiring surgery!) and mechanical failures I have been away for a couple years as well! Both bikes are in the shop now getting the last bits dealt with, and some time before Christmas I intend to hit the trails with my never-mountain-biked-before girlfriend. I'm not nearly in as good a shape as I used to be, so I'll be conditioning all over again.  ::)
