Actually, the response will be something back in very poor grammar/english stating a reason why you can't visit the 'shop' (I'm out of the country right now, but my shipper can get it to you) as the person actually perpetrating this scam is in most likely either Eastern Europe or Africa and not Florida.  They are just trying to do whatever they can to get you to send them money.  This scam pops up about once a month, but it is usally <insert first name here> bike shop (i.e. Bill's Bike shop) with the same great 'deals'.

I noticed the letter you posted was typed in Ripoffese..I happen to know how to translate "ripoffese" so I thought I'd help you out... Cheesy

Hello,

Thanks for your money.

We don't accept pick ups in our office due to the fact that our offices don't actually contain bikes or a buisness.Since then we have stopped selling to customers at our shop and
now rely on suckers to send us money for nothing. Americans are such retards. Please go to our website
http://www.bikeworldstore.itgo.com, then send us money. (Don't forget the money.)

that we don't accept pick ups we only do straight delivery via
FEDEX,UPS AND DHL to your door-step and we guarantee your money will arrive in our banks quickly and promptly. we will then forward you either nothing or it's equivilent, and vanish like Harry Houdini.
Kindly advice us with your full delivery address and contact phone, so we can send you something else to convince you this letter isn't BS, and we can get you the right address to send your money to.
(seriously, don't forget the money.)

Also if you act now, and send us $25,000 good faith money, you had an *uncle (yeah thats the ticket.) that died in Nigeria. He was a gajillionaire, and if you send the cash promptly, and send me your ATM card and your bank account number, I'll be sure to deposit 1000 gajillion *American dollars into your bank account. Please send us your bank number so we can register your package with the courier service you
wish to deliver to you.
(You didn't forget your money did you?)

Awaiting your details.
(and your cash.)

Thanks....

(I hope that helped anyone here, who isn't fluent in ripoffese. Cheesy )

It is the same scam repeated over and over and over again.  This one is particularly funny as they claim their store is in Central Florida.

Send them an e-mail asking why their name doesn't appear as an authorized retailer for any of the brands they claim to carry...that should be a fun one to hear.

I found this SCAM ALERT on one of the other Bike Forums

A quick Google search reveals that it appears to be a scam.

It doesn't appear to be a scam, it is a scam.
