So wait a minute, only slow folks run tubes?  And come to find out I have a wire bead 2.10 Nevagal on the rear, and a 2.10 Blue groove on the front!! I had no idea they put two different tires on the Rincon. I was fooled the other day by the front tire. so my rear tire is a boat anchor. Still planning on getting a set of 2.10 Ignitor eXceptions (light version of 510g/Ea).  120TPI, folding bead. I think for me it will be a good beginner tire.

FYI, I can't ride Boyette this weekend.  My Camelbak is coming in on Monday. And I want to spend some time this weekend doing some research on bike tech; disc brake adjustments and gear system adjustments and such. Also going to run by a LBS and grab some Lizard skin items.  What do they call those foam straps that velcro around the bottom of the headset/fork?? I remember it kept a lot of shiz from getting into the headset lower bearing.

I think you can get them in different colors too. Check with LBS.

Hey 4X4,
Come ride the club ride at Boyette on Sunday.  I have an extra Camelbak (100 oz  Classic) you can borrow.

NO, we also run tubeless.  And some very fast guys run tubes.
