I'm still in for a ride... I just have to map track it, and figure out what time to be there... Dan, I hope to meet up with ya. Give me a call when you head out in the morning...

Did a full lap of Blue on my cyclocross bike. The downhills are kinda scary on the skinny tires but for some reason that bike almost makes the climbs fun. They sure seem to go by a lot faster. Maybe it's because the gears don't seem to reach half as deep as my MTB so there's no choice but to just power up.

Definitely doing Ididaride on the cross bike next year. With only a few exceptions (like the stairs and some of the crossings) that route is perfect for the cross bike.

I'm in for Sunday morning 20 - 30 mi or so. I cant keep up with "A" group pace  especially over 20 I need to pace myself at 9mph or so...........
jonesy and crew could bury me at will if I tried to keep up with their fast pace.
If anyone wants to do that type of ride let me know.

I think my cross wheels would detonate on those stair drops. My Aksiums are pretty tough but my landings aren't the prettiest. With my fat ass on the bike I don't think the 18 radial spoke front wheel would stand a chance. They occasionally make truly horrible noises as is. Don't think I would chance it.
