About Us
SWAMP (South West Association of Mountain bike Pedalers) is an association of mountain bike enthusiasts, of all levels of experience, who
want to share their love for off-road mountain bike riding. Here are some of the
association activities and benefits:
- SWAMP spends about $10,000 per year on Saturday trail maintenance and support
- We host weekly guided recreational mountain bike rides for cyclists of every skill level
- Night Rides, Urban Assaults, Ladies Only Rides, and club sponsored bike race events
- Club sponsored one and two day Fat Tire Festivals
- Sponsor Trail building and trail maintenance work parties
- Socials, parties and cycling related special events
- Maintain agreements with land managers to support and maintain 4 trails systems in Florida
- Out of state mountain bicycling vacation trips
- A newsletter with information relevant to our off-road community
- A Yahoo! e-mail group for up to the minute communication
- Riding classes and bicycle skills workshops
- T-shirts, jerseys and other items with our SWAMP logo, available for purchase
- SWAMP Message Forums for members and registered guests
Our quarterly newsletter features:
- Location & Time of weekly club and social mountain bike rides
- Schedule of Evening or Night Rides, Ladies Only Rides, and Special Events
- Schedule for Festivals and Training Classes
- Listings of upcoming fat tire festivals in our area

SWAMP Club membership benefits include:
- A subscription to our newsletter with information relevant to our off-road community

- Support for trail building and maintenance in Florida. (SWAMP spends at least $10,000 per year)

SWAMP membership runs for one year from sign-up. You will receive an information packet with directions to all the club ride locations. You will also receive the quarterly newsletter mentioned above. Members and immediate family can attend all club rides, festivals, out-of-state trips, and social events. Club membership is $20 ($30 for a family membership).
