[Yesterday at 04:57:28 PM] Darrinw2001: I wonder how those shoes clip in?

[Yesterday at 04:58:38 PM] jdk: I usually make her take them off when it's time to 'clip in'

[Yesterday at 04:59:45 PM] Darrinw2001: Nice... :)

[Yesterday at 05:38:38 PM] ClintonRH: Can't believe how fast I killed that chain. Glad I bought a new one. Same # of links. Old chain was almost half a link longer than new chain.

[Yesterday at 05:40:22 PM] ClintonRH: Hurray for non-wobble cranks. Now to find a job so I can get the XT ones I actually wanted.

The answer is simple... Money! They keep making all this fancy gears, shocks, forks, etc.. so we spend more money!! Just like Golf, we need the next new club, ball, etc that will make the game easier... :)

SS/29ers are part of that industry bandwagon trend only to the next level because instead of paying for technology that requires a significant investment on the company's part you are paying for something like a religious cult - see Jeff Jones and similar con artists.

That about summarizes what I think of your ANTI 29er Rhetoric.  I am not anti 26er, nor Anti geared, but Its obvious that some of you are...

So what..... Who cares... Your entitled to your opinion and so am I..

None of us said everyone should ride X other than the rigid SS fan.

24" bikes have their use too I borrowed my friend's BMW park bike over the summer about 7 years ago by request, you don't see that crowd with too many annoying evangelists do you - follow their lead.

I think someone's tampon fell out somewhere along this thread.  I recommend you go back and find it cause you are making a mess of this place.  I am sending the whambulance down also to dry your crying eyes too.  FULL CARBON RIGID 29ER w/ DRUM BRAKES!!!

and sinker!!!

Just kidding on the drum brakes but it might be cool.
Bottom line, ride what you want but like what you ride.  The key here people is that we are all enjoying nature and riding on the trails reqardless of how we partake in said adventure geared or not squish or not!!!

Gears??? We don't need no STINKING GEARS!!!

So you are saying we should all ride simple MTB unicycles then - fixed ratio, direct drive, and rigid - unbeatable  ;D

LOL

I think as long as u ride ur good in my book.

It does bother me when people link choosing to ride a particular wheel size to a religion or a cult.  Its such a 2008 argument.

And no lie, this forum is crazy anti 29. You would think a 29er wheel did something hoffific to u personally the way u read clown wheel comments.

Personally,i agree, its an equipment choice what does cult or religion have to do with it.

It was that comment that ticked me off a little and led to the slight pissing contest.
