I ventured out to Balm-Boyette today.  It was beautiful and very fun!  I stuck to the green trail since I wasn't sure what kind of riding to expect (this was my first MTB ride ever in Florida).   There were a lot of armadillos out and about.  I also heard some boars making a ton of noise in the bushes and snorting but I did not actually see them. I can't wait to get out there again!!  SWAMP has done a wonderful job of making the trails!

Very addicting is'nt it :) You will be amazed at the abundance and quality of trails available to you within an hours drive.

Hmm......I did not take pics today, I didn't even take my camera with me!  I will definitely bring the camera next time.  I didn't realize I would be seeing so many armadillos.

Ok, well, I plan on riding there again on Tuesday so I will take pics then.  Are the also alligators and snakes out there this time of year?

Wildlife you will see at Balm-Boyette = Snakes, Turtles, Tortoise, Wild Hogs, Armadillos, Bobcats, Birds of every kind, and every so often a big Green Ogre... he usually is wearing a KISS or National Mountain Bike Patrol Jersey and riding a Giant Trance X3...

awesome!!! It is fun. As far as the Armadillos. They lose their cuteness once they nearly make you endo 30 or 40 times. Have fun.
