"Of all the posters you have pissed me off the most..."

Boo Hoo to you. you were the big baby who started this post whining about the trails. You come on this forum, the SWAMP club forum, and complain about the trails you make no effort to help with. Total disresepect and no class. Like I said before, you have an issue with a trail system, take it up with the trail boss in an email.

What makes you think people want black diamond trails made easier anyway? If I dont have the skills to ride it, I dont. I could care less if they made it harder or easier. You really need to get over yourself...

So what this guy is saying is, the trails at Alafia are not challenging enough for him BUT didn’t he state that he dislocated his shoulder riding one of the trails? Hmmmmm. Sounds like he needs work on those bike skills.

The guy came on here complaining that some trails were made too easy in his opinion.  Why all the anger and insults?  It is not the first time this complaint has been made and won't be the last time.  And of course, the guy came on a little strong, but again that is typical.  We don't all go to every trail work day, so lets not get holier than though when someone complains.  All the trail crews are stretched thin and this infighting has actually turned people away from doing this very important job.  Can we all just grow up a little, listen to the point of the email and not just the tone?  When someone comes on questioning the trail work, they can be converted or pushed away and very little work is done to convert.  Then, after we bashed people for having a different opinion of the trails, we don't know why trail work attendance is a little low.

slowfatguy: I'm all over the road on this but what I can say is that my bike only has six inches of travel and I have like 0.000078 hrs of trail work  ;D

pha3drs: No comment per my probation officer. I am pretty sure I wouldn't have crashed in that spot though. I'm pretty awesome if you haven't already heard.

fe: I agree that people should be able to sound off about the trails even if they can't/won't/don't work on them. Do so respectfully though cause I've done a tiny bit of trail work and it is hard as hell.

Darrin: Just seeing your name pop up pisses me off! Just kidding, I very much enjoy your posts and you're always super cool when I happen to run into you. This guy doesn't understand that you were a WWF wrestler in a former life ;D

TripleT: Go back to sleep :D

Garry: If he goes on a rant about Boyette I will most certainly pop some popcorn and wait for your reply.

eclark: You know you put pha3drs up to it or in fact this is your ghost screen name ;) Now turn that devil music down!

drb81: queer lefty forks can't handle the hard trails so I suspect it is you that is dumbing down the trails :)

BillT: I feel obligated to  agree with you since you are my bff riding partner. If they do dumb down/pave (blacktop) the trails you will be in big trouble :D

Even though this post was out of line a bit it certainly made for good entertainment.

Is it safe to assume that this is a joke? Spandex (Lycra) is neither fashionable nor stylish; and anybody who wears should just know and accept this. I do include myself; I know I look ridiculous in tight pants with a built in diaper.

Anyway, I think the point the OP was making was that trails that he previously found enjoyable are being "improved" in a way that makes them less enjoyable. This seems like a valid issue to me. And before anybody jumps down my throat, I have done trailwork. I have shown up shoveled dirt with the rest of the volunteers. I also agree that the "Black Diamond" trails have been made easier and less technical. Shouldn't Black Diamond require a certain amount of bike handling skills and not just good cardio fitness?
